Small and Mid-size Accounting Firms Offer More Opportunities
Accounting grads listen up! Fifty-six percent of CFOs in a recent Accountemps survey said they would steer entry-level professionals towards careers at small to mid-size companies. And 74% recommended pursuing general accounting over a niche specialty. The reason, says Accountemps District President Bill Driscoll, is that “Working at smaller companies gives entry-level hires the opportunity to do a variety of assignments and gain exposure to several departments.”
