Firm Profile

Steve Silver joined the KRD team in 2009. Steve provides clients and other staff members with an understanding of key tax issues developed from his more than 15 years of experience in federal and state individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax experience. Steve also has significant experience with estate planning, multi-state and sales tax issues as well as representing clients during federal and state tax audits.

Steve graduated from the University of Illinois in 1991 and passed the CPA exam while still in college. He will receive his MST from Northern Illinois University in Spring 2010. He is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

He strives to use his technical knowledge and professional experience to assist clients with their day-to-day tax problems while at the same time identifying tax-efficient strategies for their long-term goals. Steve resides in Northbrook with his wife and two children. He enjoys spending time with his family, biking, and coaching his son’s sports teams.
