Profile:

Richard Kane joined KRD in September 2004 with a background in both public accounting and private sector. He has managed the computer consulting division of his prior firms and has extensive knowledge of various software packages. Richard has helped select software and has managed the software installation and training of client team members on the applications. Some of the software packages he has worked on include Creative Solutions, QuickBooks®, RealWorld®, AccPac® Plus, Great Plains®, Microsoft Small Business Manager®, Excel, Word, ACT. Richard is a Certified Public Accountant as well as an Advanced Certified QuickBooks® ProAdvisor, and leads regularly scheduled QuickBooks® webinars. He is also teaching a QuickBooks Consulting class at the local community college.

Richard has experience in all facets of accounting, including client accounting and tax. In January 2009, Richard was promoted to manager of the Business Services Area. He and his team work with clients on day to day transactions. He graduated from Northeastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Management, and has a Masters in Business Administration degree from Loyola University.

Richard resides in Buffalo Grove and is a participant of the "Adopt a Sailor" program.
