Firm Profile

Ron Weis started his own accounting firm and continued until 2004 when he retired as a partner. He became part of the KRD team when his former CPA firm, Wolf, Weis & Horowitz, merged with KRD.  He is now a consultant for advice on real estate, financial planning, tax problems and preparation, elder care, and audits. 

Ronald has a bachelors degree in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society. He also had licenses to practice in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Arizona, District of Columbia and South Carolina. 

Ron lives with his wife Lee in Northbrook, and is the treasurer of their homeowners association. They have three adult children and four grandchildren and enjoys traveling.
