Two Home Offices Double the Deductions

If both you and your spouse have separate offices in your home (separate rooms), you can both deduct depreciation.  As long as you technically meet the requirements, each one of you is entitled to a home office deduction for depreciation and other eligible expense for your respective office spaces.
You must each use the home office on a regular basis and exclusively as a principal place of business or a place to meet or deal with customers, clients, or patients in a regular course of business.
